Archimedic

Archimedic does life-changing and life-saving work. Eric Sugalski leads the medical device development firm and he feels a deep connection to their mission. Of all the companies we've ever created video for, Eric probably has the most profound "why," and he came to SkyBlue Creative with a desire to share that "why" via video. While most of our work is centered around unscripted, documentary-style conversations, we decided that the emotion of the story would translate better if Eric looked into the lens of the camera. The approach was simple by design so as not to interfere with his inspiring message.

Cozzini Bros.

Cozzini Bros. is a nationwide knife sharpening service. Todd Wolfe, a charismatic leader, had just accepted the role of CEO, and he wanted to focus on sharing and driving the Cozzini culture. Todd reached out to SkyBlue Creative to create business video content that felt authentic. We met for a couple of hours virtually to discuss the company's direction, challenges and opportunities. They identified a list of team members they'd like to appear on camera and asked if we could provide them with a list of questions for the group to ponder in advance. We explained that our unscripted conversational approach works best if the group doesn't work on canned responses but simply speaks from the heart. It was so rewarding, and always is, when the group lets our team know how much easier the process was than what they expected or encountered with other production companies in the past.

M. Night Shyamalan Foundation

M. Night Shyamalan is one of the most recognizable filmmakers in the world, so we were certainly surprised to learn that his foundation has very little video content to share about their incredible mission. Their unique model of discovering, funding and thereby empowering the grassroots efforts of emerging leaders to make systemic, lasting, changes is inspiring. Our goal was to create a video that would move viewers to support the organization. Unlike other videos in which we conduct unscripted conversations with many members of organizations, we featured just two conversations in this piece. By focusing on Bhavna and Night, viewers get to hear the evolution of the non-profit model from the two people who have been there since the beginning.

Mobile Outfitters

Mobile Outfitters has an incredibly unique culture (in a good way), and that's one of the primary reasons they continue to grow. Co-CEOs Griff and Den reached out with a desire to capture the culture on film, mainly for the purpose of recruiting. After all, what better way to attract people that fit then showcasing the great people who live and breathe the culture every day. This video may have more smiles per second than any piece of content we've ever created. Not long after creating a library of videos for Mobile Outfitters, they won a very prestigious Best Place to Work award. Well deserved!

Penn Charter

Darryl J. Ford served as Head of School for Penn Charter, the oldest Quaker school in the world, from 2007 to 2023. When Karen Warren Coleman was named the eighth Head of School on July 1, 2023, Penn Charter entrusted SkyBlue Creative to create a transition video titled "One Caretaker to Another." The entire video was produced in a two-hour window on a hot summer day. The team had Darryl's setup lit and ready when he walked into the prestigious Quaker meeting room, and after his unscripted conversation was complete, he met Karen outside to film some walking and talking around campus. After the b-roll was captured, we moved back to the meeting room with Karen to film her unscripted conversation. In just a few days the completed video was delivered to Penn Charter for review and released soon thereafter to tremendous feedback.

YPO - Mission Bahamas

A global leadership community, YPO is made up of chief executives who, in addition to achieving great things in the world of business, are ideally networked to move the needle on problems that can seem insurmountable to most. When a horrific natural disaster decimated several Bahamian islands and left its people desperate for help, YPO members responded faster than any governments. SkyBlue Creative was approached to tell the story of three YPO members who saved lives and brought hope to thousands. Unscripted interviews, powerful visuals, appropriate text and carefully-selected music was the recipe.
